Still life photographer extraordinaire Jenny van Sommers (whose previous work includes campaigns for Prada, Jil Sander, Nike and Audi) joins forces with London set designer, illustrator and all-out creative wunderkind Gary Card (a regular contributor to T Magazine, Dazed & Confused and Vogue Hommes Japan) for today’s story—a tightly wound tribute to this fall’s fragrances. Playing with the alluring shapes and angles of each scent’s bottle, the duo transforms new releases such as Bang by Marc Jacobs, Prada’s Infusion d’Iris, Maison Martin Margiela’s Untitled, and the latest edition of Gaultier’s Classique Pour Femme into a tantalizing, mysterious series of packages, wrapped by Card with characteristic flair in a variety of materials from foil to latex.

A little while ago the guys at I-d approached me to be involved in their Swatch Blog project, they have asked their favourite bloggers, (the wonderful Fred Butler, Bryan boy and myself) to pick their favourite of the new 'Gent' colour series and take them out for a spin. I of course chose the purple one, no shock there. Other Magazines and Bloggers are taking part, including Diane Pernette, VIce, Interview and Wallpaper.
Check out the video of me and Fred mumbling about ourselves and our Swatch choice here - http://www.swatch.com/zz_en/newgent/newgent_truecolours.entry-10.html
Whilst there you can also vote for I-D by clicking the side bar for a chance to win one of your own new 'Gent' Swatches.
