Nowness- 'All Wrapped up' with Jenny Van Sommers.
Still life photographer extraordinaire Jenny van Sommers (whose previous work includes campaigns for Prada, Jil Sander, Nike and Audi) joins forces with London set designer, illustrator and all-out creative wunderkind Gary Card (a regular contributor to T Magazine, Dazed & Confused and Vogue Hommes Japan) for today’s story—a tightly wound tribute to this fall’s fragrances. Playing with the alluring shapes and angles of each scent’s bottle, the duo transforms new releases such as Bang by Marc Jacobs, Prada’s Infusion d’Iris, Maison Martin Margiela’s Untitled, and the latest edition of Gaultier’s Classique Pour Femme into a tantalizing, mysterious series of packages, wrapped by Card with characteristic flair in a variety of materials from foil to latex.
